Terms and conditions

These terms apply to every agreement between Groots in de Ardennen (Groepen.nl) and the renter. By booking, the renter accepts these terms.

A reservation is made at the moment Groots confirms the booking in writing (by email). The renter must check the details in the confirmation immediately.

25% of the rental amount is due within 7 days of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 6 weeks before arrival. If you book within 6 weeks of arrival, you pay the full amount at once.

The following cancellation fees apply.

• From 30 to 14 days before arrival, 50 percent of the rental amount
• From 14 to 0 days before arrival, 100 percent of the rental amount

We always recommend taking out cancellation insurance.

Standard check-in is from 16:00, check-out before 10:00. Any deviations are stated in the home confirmation.

The renter uses the accommodation as a reasonably careful tenant would. The maximum number of people may not be exceeded. Smoking indoors is not permitted unless stated otherwise. Any damage must be reported immediately.

Groots in de Ardennen is not liable for damage resulting from force majeure, personal injury or theft during the stay. The renter is liable for damage caused by their own actions or omissions.

Groots in de Ardennen receives a commission from the property owner on the rental amount. The amount in the confirmation is the amount on the invoice.

Complaints about the accommodation must be reported on site right away, so that we or the owner can help resolve them. Complaints reported afterward will not be handled.

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court.
