Where the dog can run free

A group with dogs needs two things. A yard where the dog can't just wander onto the road, and a floor that can handle wet paws. Ask the house whether the yard is fenced and how high the fence is, because a low fence won't keep every dog in.

With a dog, you'll be happiest in two destinations. In La Roche-en-Ardenne , you can walk straight from the riverbank into the woods, without having to cross a busy road first. In Durbuy , you'll find pastures behind most of the houses where the dog has room to roam.

What you need

What to look for with a dog

Most owners charge a cleaning fee, and some set size limits. We put that in your overview up front, so you know the surcharge before you book.

  • A fenced yard with a fence high enough for your dog
  • A floor that can handle wet paws, usually tile or bluestone in the utility room
  • A walk from the house that doesn't run along a through road
  • Clarity up front on the number of dogs and the surcharge per stay

What we take off your hands

Not every house that allows a dog is actually pleasant with one. This selection only includes houses where dogs are welcome, and each house shows how many can come along. Tell us how many dogs are coming when you book. Then you'll get one overview of all costs up front, dog surcharge included.

How do I know which house suits our group?

Don't just look at the maximum number of guests. The number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, plus the layout of the house, are at least as important.

A group of twenty friends, for example, may want something very different from a family with kids and grandparents.

Not sure? Let us know what your group looks like. We're happy to help you make a good choice.

What is there to do in the Ardennes?

A lot. And that's exactly why we're so excited about this region.

Think hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, climbing, visiting caves, discovering castles, exploring charming towns, or simply enjoying time together around the house.

The options vary by region and season.

Can I ask you for advice?

We'd love that.

Tell us, for example, how many people are coming, what ages are in the group, when you want to leave, what region you're coming from, which amenities matter most, and roughly what you want to spend.

Then we'll help you think through which accommodations suit your group. You really don't have to compare dozens of homes yourself.
