Sound familiar?
No neighbors in sight
Most complaints about a group stay are about noise. If you want to avoid that, pick a home with some distance from the neighbors. At these homes, you have plenty of space all around, and nature and the quiet do the rest.
You'll find secluded homes mainly in two destinations. In the Semois Valley , the villages sit high and the homes lie in between. In the High Fens , a number of homes stand alone on the plain, with the moor as their only neighbor.

What you need
What secluded means in practice
You get distance from the neighbors and give up some convenience. The supermarket is farther away, reception comes and goes, and when it snows, the road can be closed for a day. Ask Ingrid about the distances for the home you have your eye on, so you know what you're getting into.
- The distance to the nearest home in meters, not in words like quietly located
- The distance to a supermarket, because grocery shopping becomes a drive out here
- The cell reception, which regularly drops out in the valleys and on the moor
- The condition of the driveway, which is unpaved at a number of homes
What we take off your hands
In the Ardennes, secluded sometimes means a narrow road and little reception. We know the destinations and which homes are secluded without making you drive an hour for groceries. This selection only includes homes with no direct neighbors. Ask Ingrid which home fits your wishes, and you'll get one overview up front with all the costs.
How do I know which house suits our group?
Don't just look at the maximum number of guests. The number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, plus the layout of the house, are at least as important.
A group of twenty friends, for example, may want something very different from a family with kids and grandparents.
Not sure? Let us know what your group looks like. We're happy to help you make a good choice.
What is there to do in the Ardennes?
A lot. And that's exactly why we're so excited about this region.
Think hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, climbing, visiting caves, discovering castles, exploring charming towns, or simply enjoying time together around the house.
The options vary by region and season.
Can I ask you for advice?
We'd love that.
Tell us, for example, how many people are coming, what ages are in the group, when you want to leave, what region you're coming from, which amenities matter most, and roughly what you want to spend.
Then we'll help you think through which accommodations suit your group. You really don't have to compare dozens of homes yourself.
