The water within easy reach
With a group by the water, you're quickly outdoors all day. At Le Moulin de Lesse, you step into a kayak from your own dock. At Forsthaus am Rursee, you have your own dock on the lake. In La Roche-en-Ardenne, you walk from the quay to the canoe rental.
You'll find water mainly in two destinations. In the Semois Valley you look out over the bend in the river from Maison de Frahan. In the Eifel you bike along the reservoirs, including the Rursee.

What you need
What to look for with a group by the water
Kids are drawn to the water, which makes a weekend less predictable. Ask Ingrid whether the shore by the house is fenced off and how high the water gets in spring. She'll check with the owner.
- A fenced-off shore if kids or dogs are coming along
- Canoe or kayak rental within walking distance, so nobody has to drive
- A place to dry wet gear and swimwear
- A view of the water from the terrace or the dining table
What we take off your hands
Tell us whether you want to get out on the water or mostly look at it. Ingrid will then send you the houses that fit. She'll check with the owner on how far the shore is and whether it's fenced off.
How do I know which house suits our group?
Don't just look at the maximum number of guests. The number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, plus the layout of the house, are at least as important.
A group of twenty friends, for example, may want something very different from a family with kids and grandparents.
Not sure? Let us know what your group looks like. We're happy to help you make a good choice.
What is there to do in the Ardennes?
A lot. And that's exactly why we're so excited about this region.
Think hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, climbing, visiting caves, discovering castles, exploring charming towns, or simply enjoying time together around the house.
The options vary by region and season.
Can I ask you for advice?
We'd love that.
Tell us, for example, how many people are coming, what ages are in the group, when you want to leave, what region you're coming from, which amenities matter most, and roughly what you want to spend.
Then we'll help you think through which accommodations suit your group. You really don't have to compare dozens of homes yourself.
