Sound familiar?

Everyone together, and yet a little apart

You're the one who organizes it, because you always are. Four days with 22 people, and you already know the little ones will be up at 6:30 and your brother-in-law will still be sitting up at 2 a.m. The house has to work for both. One table big enough for everyone, and plenty of corners to slip away to for a moment. The youngest kids would rather sleep next to their parents, and anyone who can't manage the stairs anymore needs a room downstairs.

As a family, you'll do best in three destinations. In Luxembourg the homes sit along the Semois, with shallow water where kids can play. In Mullerthal a trail with steps and caves starts behind some of the homes. In Durbuy you can walk around the center in twenty minutes, and at the Topiarypark kids find their own way.

What you need

Room to spread out

A family home stands or falls with its layout. Do the youngest kids sleep next to their parents, and is there a room downstairs for anyone who can't manage the stairs? Ask Ingrid how it works at the home you have your eye on. She'll tell you even when the answer is no.

  • One dining table where 22 to 40 people can sit at the same time
  • At least one bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, for anyone who can't manage the stairs
  • A second living area, so the late crowd and the early crowd each have a spot of their own
  • A yard with no open water, or a fence that really goes all the way around it

What we take off your hands

With three generations on the road, you want everyone to have a place. We select homes where that works, and we know which destinations suit small children and people who are less steady on their feet. With Search and Book you choose the number of people and the dates, and you immediately see an overview with all costs. One invoice, which you can forward to everyone else.

Are the homes suitable for families?

Absolutely. The Ardennes are a great fit for a family weekend or a multi-generational vacation.

Would you like a play area for the kids, plenty of bedrooms, or bedrooms on the ground floor for grandma and grandpa? We're happy to help you look.

Is the Ardennes a good fit for kids?

Absolutely. Forests, rivers, caves, animal parks, adventure parks, and above all, lots of space: kids won't get bored here anytime soon.

For families, we can also look for accommodations with things like playground equipment, play rooms, a swimming pool, or a big yard.

Are pets allowed?

Several group accommodations welcome dogs or other pets.

The accommodation page states whether pets are allowed and, where applicable, how many animals can come along and what fees apply.
