What a group does here
The homes sit in the hills above Spa, among the springs the town is named after. From the yard you can see the grandstands of Francorchamps in the distance. On a race weekend you'll hear the engines all the way into the garden, which is the reason to come for some groups and the reason to avoid that date for others.
This is the only destination where a group without a car can head into town for an evening. From Spa the bus runs until eleven, and at the Place du Monument you can sit down at a café terrace with twenty people without a reservation. Sports groups will find fields here that are hard to come by elsewhere, since the municipality rents out three artificial turf fields by the hour. By day you can hike through the Duchess's Forest, with loops of 8 to 22 kilometers, or hop from stone to stone in the Ninglinspo valley. When it rains, you can finish the last stretch of the Remouchamps caves by boat. If you're looking for total peace and quiet, this isn't the destination for you.

Season
May versus September
In May the slopes above Spa are full of hikers and the spring water is at its coldest. In September it's quieter and warmer, but that's when two race weekends fall, and every home within a ten-kilometer radius fills up. So check the race calendar before you lock in a date.
- Spa Thermal Baths, groups of ten or more by appointment
- Lap around the Francorchamps circuit, outside race weekends
- Hiking in the Duchess's Forest, loops of 8 to 22 kilometers
- Artificial turf fields in Spa, rentable by the hour through the municipality

Ingrid never books a group here without checking the race calendar. Ask her how far each home is from the circuit.
How long is the drive to the Ardennes?
That depends a lot on where you're leaving from and where in the Ardennes your accommodation is located.
From the center of the Netherlands, you can often be in the Ardennes in about three to four hours. From the south of the Netherlands and large parts of Belgium, the travel time is often considerably shorter.
That makes the Ardennes ideal for a weekend away: you really get away, without spending a whole day traveling.
Can we come by tour bus?
At some accommodations, a tour bus can get right up to or close to the house. Other houses are on a narrower or steeper road, for example.
Coming by tour bus? Let us know in advance. Then we can check whether the accommodation is easy to reach for a bus.
What is there to do in the Ardennes?
A lot. And that's exactly why we're so excited about this region.
Think hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, climbing, visiting caves, discovering castles, exploring charming towns, or simply enjoying time together around the house.
The options vary by region and season.
